OK, so a week late isn't too bad right? This is a happy birthday post for the Lou.
Lindsay is a very special girl. I was going to have a party planned for her last Friday, but didn't get around to it. That apparently didn't stop Lindsay from inviting people to it though. So, after a call from a couple of mothers wondering what time it was at and that they had presents wrapped and ready, I told them we would have it on Saturday at noon. That's right, I had 24 hours to pull together a party. I got on the phone with a few other mom's and explained to them the events that had transpired that week and if their daughter's could attend a party on such short notice. It was on. I had come up with activities (American Idol, manicures, swimming), decorations (my signature balloon chandeliers), and food (mini-burgers, chips, cucumbers, watermelon).
I have to tell you, it turned out really well. I think it might have been one of the best actually. Well here are a bunch of pictures to show what we did. If you need a party put on in a jiffy, I'm your guy. :)) You can wish her happy birthday here too. She has her very own blog.
Smart.
Silly. Sassy. Sweet.
Lovely. Funny. Mamma's.
Graceful. Goofy.

happy birthday!
It's sometimes so hard to believe that that sweet, happy little "sugar baby" is already nine years old. Love you so much Linds!
From grandma
We'll have a special something to bring up to Lindsay when we come to Spokane on Friday!

What a great day. Happy Birthday to Lindsay, it looks like you had a great time with your friends. The singing is my favorite.
How fun! You are so creative! I would have been stressed out if Lexie did that to me. You are such a great mom.
Ok so I could totally see my eight year old (turning nine in a few short weeks) doing the exact same thing!!! I guess I better learn from the best and get to planning! :) It really looks like it turned out perfect though.
