And Heeeres Lindsay

Right before dessert and a bit during, Lindsay decided we needed a little bit of a show. This was probably spurred on by not wanting to help clear the table, but I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. She ran upstairs and changed into one of her many outfits and began her "Sweetheart Dance". I think it's a part of her performance this year. She is a butterfly in Mid Summers Night Dream.

I was surprised she was so willing to show us any of it, it's usually a closely guarded secret. She danced and sang for a good 5 minutes. It then went into to a dance/comedy routine when she started telling jokes. That silly girl of mine had a routine worked out. If we didn't laugh as loud as she wanted you would hear something like "tough crowd" or "these are the jokes people".

"What kind of day do fish hate?"

"Fry-day!" ba dum ching
{she would add that at the end}

"Where did the seaweed find a job?"

"In the kelp-wanted adds! These jokes are kinda fishy."

Followed by some yada tada yada tada. It's never a dull moment when you have a Lindsay.

Oh how I love that kid. She really is just a natural born entertainer.
