I'm back

I've been gone this weekend up in Seattle. My uncle's baby was being blessed and it was an occasion not to miss. I had a great time with my family. I think my face and diaphragm need a rest from all of the smiling and laughing though.

We went to the zoo, got sopping wet and froze, but I did see some really cool stuff there. We only saw about 25% of the zoo before we packed it in. I'll show the pictures tomorrow.

I got to hold my new baby cousin lots and lots. It just reaffirmed the fact that I want my own really badly and I am going to have one...soon I hope. :)

I don't have a bunch of pictures to show. One reason being, my camera eats batteries like tic-tacs and when you're having so much fun, you forget to take pictures of it all.

I am so glad that I got to have a mini vacation. I needed it so badly. I feel a whole lot better than I did last week. So, hopefully that means I'll be better about posting and commenting on my blog buddies posts.

I do have one question though. I saw this last week and I am really stunned. Maybe it went unnoticed to you, but I was in awe.

WHY?

So that crazy singing fish on the television can keep singing, I guess. Glad you had a good mini-vacation!

my sentiments exactly. Seth likes the filet o' fish, but when he saw that EVEN HE was boggled. =) glad you had a good time. glad you made it home safe. we almost headed up to Spokey this last weekend, but decided against it when we saw the forecast. snow is not my best friend. it freaks me out a bit. thought 3 years in eastern Idaho would cure me, but it definitely did not. got my box of awesome and it WAS AWESOME!!! i'm going to post about it later. =) thanks again. are those caramel wrapped marsh mallows?! with the braces i had to refrain, but Seth told me they're DELICIOUS! zucchini or banana bread? the egg kit is the COOLEST DANGED THING EVER! and my favorite things magnet board is already being put to use in my living room. the snuggly will come in handy with the blustery spring weather & all sorts of sporting events....cool that you know me so well without knowing me from before! =) THE BOX OF AWESOME WAS BOTH AWESOME AND TOTALLY ATTRACTIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks, you're the best.

Fun! I'm glad that you got to have a little break. I have to admit, I had to look at your Filet o Fish for a while before I came to the conclution that the difference was that there are TWO patties! Looks perfectly natural to me :).

Welcome back! I wish you the best of luck to get your own baby soon!

Oh and I like fish... but not that much! My daughter would like it though.

I would tell you all about my little box of awesome, but it hasn't come yet. I am excited for it. And if you send me your address, I have a little box of awesome that I would like to send back. Fair is fair and I have something to share!

Welcome back! You were missed.

I don't think the 2 fish filets have made there way to Texas. We're a BEEF state! ;P

Your mini vacation sounds wonderful. Glad you had a great break.

ground cherries are cool - only recently tried them (so what do I do - try two then grown them the next year- DOH!) - they have a husk on them and I suspect are related to tomatoes actually ... they are yellow and sweet and tart all at once- bet they'd make good pie :)

ohhhhhh a little box of awesome :)
you are too sweet - now I'm too excited!
