I have a few things running through my mind this morning.
Did you know that I've been trying to get a job? Ya, I did a working interview this week at a physical therapy office. I haven't heard back yet. So, I'm just a little bit worried. I know I wasn't the most qualified person, but I know I am a contender. We'll see I s'pose.
I wish I could start my garden. We had a hard frost last night. Not good for most plants. I heard that lettuce doesn't mind though. I think today after I get back from doing a session I'll have Jeff help me make it. I'm really excited about growing our own stuff this year. I'm really excited about the watermelon and the pumpkins.
I have a lot of family. I never had anyone on my Dad's side that was close. Well, I had an aunt that was intermittently in my life. I love her and miss her. She just had a gypsy spirit. I knew it and excepted it when I was really young. Aside from that, I had nothing on my Dad's side. So, everything had to come from my Mom. I had no shortage there. I am grateful that through blogging I am connecting with some of them. I had a bunch practically in my own backyard growing up, but I never knew them. Hopefully that is changing.
I don't talk about my religion much on my blog. I don't want to alienate anyone by making them think they have to belong to come to my blog. Anyways, I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. Something I love to do is go to the temple. I'm going today in fact. I'm lucky enough to have one in Spokane. Temples are always so beautiful. Last night I found a picture of the inside of the Salt Lake temple. It is one of the most gorgeous rooms I have ever seen. I hope I can see it in person soon. Here is the photo I saw. It just took my breath away.If you would like to see more photos of the temples go here. There is a little video that explains why we have temples and you can watch it here.
Anyway, these are just some of the random things that were going through my mind this morning. Maybe I'll find a better topic for Monday. :) I know I will. I hope all of you have a good weekend. I think I will, I know I will.

I like your random thoughts. Good luck looking for a job, and also starting your garden. Also, beautiful picture of the temple. I want to go inside of that one someday too!
I like your random thoughts...not so random. :)
We're going to the temple today too. It really is a beautiful place.
I am anxious to start my garden too! It's funny that you posted that picture because we were able to go to the Salt Lake Temple on Wednesday. It has been a while since I have been there. You are right, it is breathtaking! I hope that you find work soon and that things are going well for you!
Hiya Heida~I'm here from Dani's~hope you don't mind me bargin' in! It was interesting to read about your family~I didn't know anyone from my dad's family either; only vague memories of my grandfather as a mere child. Of course, you mentioned an aunt. But, on my mom's side had over a hundred at one time, and now missing so very many of them. Family trees are mystical that way.
I hope you find employment that soon that suits you well. Take care. :)
Random....yet perfect thoughts.
Hope you had a lovely time at the temple today and i hope that the job you interview for call wanting you soon!
Heidi, I'm so proud of your newfound love for the temple. You probably don't realize it but you are having a psoitive affect on me. I hope you get a job. And I sure hope it will be one that you will look forward to every single day.
Love mom
hey i hope you enjoyed a fantastic session! i am not as readily available to attend the way i'd like to due to my job (which seems like i'm working ALL THE TIME). but when i have the opportunity to attend, i try to soak up every last essence of peace and my experience in order to get me through until my next temple venture (usually a blue moon away). so, good on you. hope you're having a great day! =)
I was showing my husband your post on the square foot garden and we're thinking of doing one! I hope you were able to get yours started!
And best of luck with the job hunting. It can be a frustrating process.
what a beautiful room. i've been there i think two times, but not in a long time.
mormon temples are gorgeous, heidi. i've only ever seen photos.
i think it's great that you are re/connecting with your family; i bet it's kind of like adding puzzle pieces to your life's story. enjoy:)
i wish you the best of luck on your job interview!!! i will say a prayer for you that you will find just the right fit.
and, i am still looking forward to reading about your garden and seeing the photos, of course!!!
have a lovely week:D
much love,
dani xxxx
My favorite is the Manti. It's where we got married and where we had Baylie sealed to us.
I planted flowers, cherry tomatoes and basil, and they froze! Ugh! I'm hoping they survive in spite of it all.
