There will be swimming

I would like to announce that we will be frequenting the Spokane public pools yet again this summer. After many debates and town hall meetings, they have come to a conclusion about keeping them free or not. Well, they decided not to keep them free. I think that 1$ per person is pretty reasonable though. So, swimming is definitely on the calendar of fun this summer.

What do you like to do in the summertime?

That's so fun! I was remembering your last post about the public pools and wondering how it resolved. I'm glad to know it turned out ok!

I wish our public pools were that reasonable! Still, free would be better, but I guess they have to do something about the rising cost of everything. :(

ahhhh good ol' Cheney pool!! 1 buck should definitely cover it!!! The best spokane pool is on the South Hill with the big slide and water features and lazy river. Spent many a days out there. Good times, good times!!!!!

We will be at the zoo and Portland Children's Museum a ton this summer and spending a lot of time in our own backyard, too! Hopefully some visits to grandma and grandpa's houses in the TC's will be on the schedule also, they both have pools.

A dollar seem reasonable... not free, but reasonable. :)

Have my two oldest grandaughters come and spend a few weeks with me and spend lots of time with all five of them.

But then you knew that.

Swimming, BBQ's, Running through sprinklers, library, finishing our back yard, all that fun stuff. Another big part of our summer is summer school work that we do, just so we don't lose skills over the break. My kids acutally look forward to this.

I love sleeping in. Boring huh?!

We have neighborhood pools that our home owners association pay for. They end up being a hang out for all the rift raf, so this year my parents bought our family season passes to a large water park. We've been several times already, but I still feel guilty about the hefty fee. I think $1 is fantastic!
