Time to plan the week

I know I said I was back last week and then didn't post anything since then...LAME. Well, I am going to be much better this week. I am pretty sure my mood was directly effected by the weather. Gray, gloomy, rain, or snow. YUCK! Then on Saturday, it took a turn for the better. It was blue skies with big white fluff clouds and Sunday and Monday are following suit. I am feeling myself perk up. It's even supposed to get up to the 60's today!

So, what I thought about doing was making a list of things to get done this week. I know that getting our garden boxes made is going to be in there. Calling around for soil components will be one too. Getting stuff ready for Easter. Maybe even a house project. Start a new book, I think I might try something from Mark Twain. I am definitely going to have a new post every day. I have a couple of things to share. Life just seems to be coming out of hibernation right now, that's how it's feeling for me anyway.

Oh, I need to get the girls white dress shoes for their Easter dresses. This may sound like an easy task, but it's going to be the hardest thing I do this week. They need to be flat on the bottom (or as much as possible), white not cream, and they need to be cheap.

We just did the white shoe shopping yesterday... always an adventure!

This is my first time trying the pork loin in the Crockpot with salsa and brown sugar. One of the flight attendants on my last trip gave me the recipe, so I'm hoping it turns out. I used a bigger jar of Pace Picante sauce and about a cup and a half of brown sugar. Then he said to shred up the pork about an hour before eating it so the flavor gets all over it and then he serves it over white rice, which we'll try. I bet it would be good in tortillas too.

Enjoy the blue skies!

Enjoy the little warmth you are having. It is always nice to feel that.

Good luck with the shoes. Everything has pretty high heels anymore. Even the youngies.

Oh Heidiiiii????
I am still CD-less. Maybe you should put them in your van now so that you will get them to me eventually. I keep thinking about making the pork stuff, I'm just afraid I'll end up with a big pot of something that nobady will eat.

I am not feeling like posting much myself these days. As for the white shoes . Payless, pennys outlet if you have one or online if you know their true sizes.
Good Luck. I am not even going to think about easter dresses and shoes. We are just going to smile look pretty and make do. Have a wonderful week.

Heidi, Donald made a garden box for us on Saturday and it turned out great! I am planning on posting pics soon. We are hoping to plant in it this weekend. Do you have any suggestions of what to plant? We can venture into this gardening bit together :)
