A quick update. The storm subsided around 3:30pm. At last count around here: 29 inches. Relocating 120 cubic yards of snow without a blower hasn't been fun . . . yet. Snow forts are destined. We'll have photos tomorrow.
All in all, it was a great snow day. Sure we are trapped in our home and neighborhood, but we have food in the fridge and pantry, electricity and gas is functioning, snow gear for the girls to go CRAZY outside, and we even found a crackling fireplace/Christmas music screen saver on the On Demand feature of our cable so Heidi and I can relax to the fake fire. Great snow day.
School is obviously canceled tomorrow. It looks like Christmas break came two days early.

I can't even comprehend 29 inches!! WOW!
Can't wait to see the snow forts!
Can you open the doors? Joking. I hope you are all tucked in for a little hibernation. Be bears. Growl a little.
