Jeff comes home today! I'm so excited. Yes, I know it's only been a week, but every Friday feels like this now.
We're going to have dinner together at the table tonight. Then we're going to take the girls to go see Santa. Maybe take a free carriage ride through the park, and then come home and have some coco and read Christmas stories.
While I wait for Jeff to get here I've decided to take myself to the temple. I can't tell you how tired I am of feeling sad. I just can't stand it. I don't like to feel this way and I've done everything I can think of to fix it. I think when I really examine why I'm not feeling happy during the holidays, it' cuz I'm depressed. Well, I'm going to try and fix that today. The temple is peaceful and serene. I hope that I can feel closer to my savior while I'm there too, which is the whole reason we have Christmas to begin with.

give Him your sadness, heidi, really surrender it; and ask Him to fill you up with HIMSELF. He will do it. i promise:)
much love and a prayer,

there is nothing better for a sad soul than the temple. Have a good time.
I hope you have a great weekend, and that you feel better! I love the peace of the temple! We are so blessed to have that available to us.
here here! take a does of temple & call me in the morning. =) i remember that's how my fridays were when seth was working in wyoming. whichever fridays he actually got to come home were always like christmas morning to me. so i say have your cake & eat it too, today! shoot i used to have a week's collection of CD's where each disc was titled by the day of the week. monday's i was always bluest, so i had my most soothing depression music on that one. by friday's disc, i was all amp'd up thanks to that mix. silly what we have to do sometimes, but hey we're SURVIVING on this rock! do what ya gotta do. =) love ya.
Heidi, I'm so proud of you. You have shown faith and been blessed for it. You have made me look inside myself and I have seen things that I really need to change. Amazing what our children can teach us.
comments off above?! just wanted to send you my best congrats on feeling better. and .....pst....marshmallows. make marshmallows. ;)
p.s. did you catch this year's devotional? something happened and so we missed it initially. but its available online now and i was thinking, for added measure, perhaps checking it out online may help bolster your happiness. just sayin' love you!
I heard the song "Where are you, Christmas" yesterday and thought of you. I'm glad things are looking up.
Going to the temple is always such a blessing. I am glad you walked away feeling the peace you needed.
